The International Women's Day
Theme: Connecting girls inspiring futures
Eastleigh Community Center joined the rest of the world in celebrating the International Day for Women. The awesome weather on this day gave the women a chance to celebrate their achievements despite all the challenges they go through in the society. In attendance were KNCHR, GIZ, TUPANGE, the City council Hospital of Kamukinji and Hon. Yusuf Hassan Abdi Kamukunji area member of parliament, who gave a very encouraging massage to all women with the promise to establish a girls' school in the area to empower more women.
