Vocational Training Curriculum Orientation Forum

A group of experts from   today held a forum to desseminate a training guide for the Vocational Training Collage at The ECC Hall. The forum initiated all instructors from the Vocational Training Collage, students, ECC program officers, members of the Board of Management and The Administrators.

The curriculum was presented while the instructors paid attentation.

More books for The ECC Library!

Today ECC received some educative books from SRI AUROBINDO ASHRAM SOCIETY as donations to the Center's Library. The books which were received by the Librarian at the ECC Library will be used mostly by the pupils at Rev. Kareri Primary School.

Yet another production!

Just like every Teusdays and Thursdays, its another production day for catering students at the Vocational Training Collage. This acts as a platform to expose the students to the job industry and enable them gain the experience required for the job market.
Today the students prepared Mandazi, Chapati and tea for breakfast.

Good Health for pupils at Rev. Kareri Primary School.

"Good Health in Our Hands, Maximum protection against germs". A group of staff from the Kenya Medical Association have visited Rev. Kareri Pri. School at ECC to offer hand washing services with dettol to all children. Enhancincing germ-free with dettol all day!

A book for each pupil. It explains what germs are and how one can keep away from germs.

Team building

ECC organised for a two day team building activity for all its staff at the VTC. The team building was led by a group from Fallingbrook Heights Baptists Church in Toronto, Ontario and Canada. It focused majorly on creating a good working environment for employees not only in terms of premises but also they staff relate with each other at the working environment. "Team work"

Youth from Korogocho did not fail the crowd when it came to entairtainment. They did a salsa dance that moved the crowd into laughter and their faces to banana smiles.

Tree planting

To mark this event, some invited guests planted trees at Eastleigh Community Centre. This was to was all in honour of the late Pro. Wangari in regard to environment conservation
