ECC's renovation

A very busy day at ECC with everyone rushing to accomplish their duities as the renovation continues. A processs that is expected to affect most departments in the institution.

The Community Cooker

ECC's Director, Mr. Muigai Kuria together with a group of staff and community youth group leaders visited Jiko ya jamii for an exposure : a Planning Initiative System Services Ltd in Kibera  tour that provides cash free heat for cooking and boiling water while improving the local environment through gabage collection.

The community cooker: It uses gabage to produce heat that is used in cooking and heating water.

ECC's Assembly Hall reconstruction.

ECC is reconstructing its hall to a modern conference facillity that will be hosting conferences and meetings from various institutions. The project started officially on 10th Sep and it is expected to end in a months time.

A red ribon at the hall's entrance door indicates the work going on inside the hall.

A white paint for the wall will bring some brightness inside the hall.

Strategic plan review workshop.

Kasarani Sports View Hotel will be hosting our staff at least for two days (today and tommorow) for a workshop that is aimed at reviewing the three year strategic plan 2011 - 2013.

Schools reopen.

Today marks the beginning of a new term and pupils from Rev. Kareri have reported to school, apparently with the urge to learn and the hope to be dignified persons in the future. A lot is expected to happen during this term. The standard Eight candidates are expected to sit for their K.C.S.E exams in early Nov. while the students at the Vocational Training Centre are will be completing their courses.


We wish them all the best in their studies.
